General Information sonylogo145.jpg (3595 Byte)

All systems of the TECHNOLOOK family are video microscopes that uses a CCD camera to convert optically magnified images for viewing on a monitor and saving the picture data on a "Memory Stick" or a PC's harddisk.

The CCD camera, positioned at an angle of 45°, captures images with high visual depth. This angle remains constant even as the camera is swung up to 45 degrees to the left or right of the subject to provide a wide variety of perspectives.

The subjects to be investigated are showed on the clear and bright 7-inch TFT liquid-crystal display. It can be adjusted in four directions.

Features

Large workspace
An extreme working-distance of 150 mm at a magnification of 100x is provided between the subject and camera to allow working / handling of the subject during viewing with the microscope.

Zoom function and superb depth of field
A 4x to 40x or 10x to 100x zoom function allows the microscope to cover a field of view area of approximately 4,8 x 3,6 mm (40x) or 1,2 x 1,0 mm (100x).

Video output connectors
Video output connectors on the unit allow images to be output to various external video equipment, making it possible to magnifying the images for using in presentations, etc.

USB connector
For the digital models TL5MP and TL10MP only. By connecting the TECHNOLOOK to a PC with the supplied USB cable, you can access data on the "Memory-Stick" from the PC. The USB interface also allows you to view the same LCD monitor image on the PC screen

Saving picture data to a "Memory-Stick"
For the digital models TL5MP and TL10MP only. You can save images of the subject to the Memory-Stick while looking at them on the LC-Display. These models are equipped with a 8MB Memory-Stick which allows to store up to 50 pictures in the FINE mode and up to 100 pictures in the NORMAL mode.
